![]() There were many of these geckos at the house I was staying at. The colors are very striking. This one was on the side of a very tall coconut palm.

![]() I was able to visit a breadfruit farm in Kilauea and met a wonderful woman named Elli. A female White-rumped Shama had befriended her several years earlier and followed her around as she gardened. Elli would turn up worms which the bird relished. The male of the species is black where the female is grey.
