California poppies lined the left end of the entrance to the Sacramento, California Residence Inn by Marriott. Bees hovered over the poppies and ominous clouds rose over distant brown hills.

A hexagonal pattern, that resembled a honeycomb, decorated the facade above the entrance to the Residence Inn by Marriott in Sacramento, California.

The bee nearest a parked car was huge. An actual bee that size would scare the heck out of folks.

The other bee was higher in the mural and appeared to be settling down onto a flower.

The third bee was painted more distant and smaller. It flew over California poppies and hovered in front of golden hills.

Hexagonal shapes formed a dome over the clouds. This view resembled life inside a sports ball.

The artist's signature was in the upper right of the mural. It read, "Kinetik Ideas."
