A large bronze sculpture stood just outside the entrance to the Oregon Coast Aquarium. The sign at the base of the sculpture did not indicate if the boulders were a part of the sculpture or not.

Two small plaques labeled the sculpture. The leftmost one read, "The Cradle by Frank Boyden." The rightmost plaque read, "Sponsored by Alyce Cheatham."

A boulder appeared to be a part of the sculpture. It was bronze with artistic markings.

The front of the sculpture as it faced the entry doors to the Oregon Coast Aquarium.

The back of the sculpture resembled jetsam found on the ocean's floor.
