The mural was painted on the upper part of an east-facing building's side. It illustrated activities in a garden.

Kari Johnson also decorated the lower side of the building with a fake skyline and flowers.

The mural showed one man raking, another man setting fire, a woman helping a child to water, and a girl holding up a nascent tree.

The background of the mural either showed the sun rising or setting.

A girl either held up a tree limb, or a small tree, with its upper branches forming a heart.

A watering can was being used to irrigate native grass behind the tree.
