This 14.5 ton sculpture was one of the first made by di Suvero using Steel I-beams. "What Are Years?" a poem by Marianne Moore that ends with a captive bird who sings with enjoyment despite its confinement.

A Good Place To Picnic

The sculpture was on the lawn of what was once an airfield. In this idyllic setting the sculpture made a great place to have a picnic.

Cables Held The Sculpture In Place

A V Held To Blow In The Wind

A V-shaped piece made of two I-beams was held by a cable and allowed to blow and move in the wind.
