Five paintings lined Van Buren Street, just north of W. 2nd Avenue. That corner was a gravel parking lot surrounded by a fence. The portraits were hung from the fence.

Beyond the fence, and behind the portraits was a wall also made up of art. The portraits were each of a different face, and none were signed, hence the artist was unknown.

Just around the corner from the portraits, that same fence was decorated with string. The string, in different colors, was stretched into triangle shapes to create a diamond, a heart, and a stick person under a flying saucer.
