 The sign that identified this heart was etched into an aluminum plate attached to the base. The sign had oxidized so badly it was almost illegible.

 The face of the heart had two hills painted on it. The left hill was Telegraph Hill with Coit Tower above it. The other hill was Russian Hill. Fog descended the two hills and appeared to separate them.

 The back of the heart showed two more hills. To the left was Mount Davidson. To the right was Sutro Tower atop on Mount Sutro. Just to the left of Sutro Tower were the two peaks of Twin Peaks. Again, fog partly separated the two hills.
