![]() Every Christmas, the folks who manage the 101 California building set these huge (over six feet or two meters tall) ornaments in the plaza. They were all built using fiberglass and this one in the foreground wouldn't roll because it had a flat base.

![]() A huge ornament almost the size of a basketball hung from the crook of a tree on the sidewalk of the Rockridge area of Oakland. The street could be seen reflected in that ornament including parked cars and a distant sun.

![]() A red ball ornament hung from a Christmas tree it the middle of Union Square in downtown San Francisco. Reflected in it was the fence surrounding the tree. Lights were lit that day, despite the sun shining brightly.
