The 9 of spades playing card was found laid face up on gravel at the base of a post holding up a new tree. Was it the last card dealt or the first card face up or just a symbol of how that day might turn out.

Cryptic Symbol Emblazoned Spade Tip

A spade used to plant a tree alongside the trail had a small somewhat cryptic symbol near its tip. The symbol could represent a pineapple because a pineapple plantation was nearby.
