The crowd filled the area between the two City Hall buildings. An overhead path connected the two buildings.

The only way to photograph the other side of the buildings, was by looking through a fence.

Some of the protesters stood and rested on a patch of lawn on the opposite side of the street.

There were so many signs that is was difficult to see the individual people.

All the protesters faced the river side of the plaza. A faintly heard announcer caused the protesters to chant together.

A shutter click caused many to protesters to rotate their signs to face the camera.
