The compost container behind the basketball court at the Hacienda conference center was filled most obviously with watermelon and egg shells. Look closely and you can also see lettuce.

A Clue To Earlier Meals

The compost in evidence here could be a clue to earlier meals eaten. Clear eggs were used, perhaps scrambled, or fried, or made into an omelet or a souffle. The watermelon must have been the fruit that accompanied breakfast.
