![]() The front deck of the boat was equipped with a hose, a mop, and a broom. Also on the front deck (and not shown) was a barbecue. The hose turned out to be really handy because of all the mud on shoes caused by the muddy shoreline.

![]() The houseboat had a full kitchen. Two refrigerator/freezers (not shown to the left) a microwave, stove-top, oven, toaster, coffee maker, and blender. Also the cabinets were well stocked with dishes, cups, glasses, cookware, and silverware. The only caveat was that the generator had to be running to use the electric appliances.

![]() The driving station at the head of the boat. The throttle to the right was in the neutral position. The radio to the left also had an input plug for audio devices such as laptops and ipods. The key was in the ignition because we were getting ready to untie the boat and cast off.

![]() The is what our houseboat looked like just after it was returned to dock. The bin was used to haul away trash. Barely visible to the right of this photo was the gas pump used to refill the fuel tank on the boat. Notice the circular staircase at the back of the boat leading to the upper deck.
