The "Heron's Embrace" sculpture provided a bit of shade on a warm morning.

A sign identified the art as, "Heron's Embrace by Portal Art Collective."

Another sign requested that attendees, "Please do not climb on the art."

Most folks stood outside the sculpture to admire it.

The heron's chest was created from a piece cut from an old Volkswagen bug, that was later fancy painted.
