2010, How Weird Street Fair

![]() Entry was by donation with a suggested donation of $US 10.00 or $US 5.00 if wearing a costume. A costume was considered anything from a full get-up to a simple mask or funny hat. The "Magic Sticker" was a round paper sticker that read "Bollyweird", this year's theme.

![]() One woman arrived on a decorated bicycle. Mounted on the rear of the bicycle was a pair of yellow bubble generating machines. Whenever she passed that afternoon, smiles followed.

![]() A carnival mirror (also called a distorting mirror) divided the world into two halves. The one below was right-side up, and one above upside-down. The orange line visible on the left edge of the mirror showed its shape.

![]() The music was loud and pounding and could be felt in the unrestrained movement of the body. Dance styles varied from disco to floating. There were ten music stages to choose from. This one was the dance area in front of the Community Trance Stage.

Dead center in the intersection was the "Grove Garden," a tent atop steps where many found comfortable seating to rest as the fair progressed.

![]() A bus was parked on 2nd Street. It was decorated to look like an old-time reel-to-reel tape recorder. A ladder allowed access to the top were people would gather to drink beer and enjoy themselves.
