Part of the How Weird Street Faire took place on Howard Street between 1st and 2nd Streets. A row of portable toilets lined the sidewalk under the bus bridge into the Transbay Center.

Tables and chairs were set up in a parking lot just off 2nd Street. A food truck was parked off to the left. Beer and cocktails were for sale just outside the parking lot. And, a yellow DJ bus/stage, outside this photograph, provided music.

An inflated art head was held by thin ropes to the top of a yellow DJ bus/stage. The head was painted to resemble a mural, but was actually a 3D balloon.

Someone brought at least three mylar, helium-filled balloons into the How Weird Street Faire. Whether or not the balloons were released on purpose, they floated up past the metal side of a building.

At the intersection of 2nd and Howard Streets, ridable robots were on display. In the background stood the Heavy Petting Zoo and Bootie stage . Bubbles from that stage began to fill the air.

By mid-afternoon, the faire became very crowded. The more crowded the faire became, the lower the percentage of costumed individuals. The fog, that had burned of at noon, returned to cool mid-afternoon.
