Festive Cabbage

A purple cabbage allowed to grow into bloom. Located in a garden at the edge of town, it appeared festive that evening, joined by yellow flowers.

Cabbages Decorated Dock

There were very few places for gardens on the houseboat dock. But periodic planter boxes provided just enough space to grow, among other plants, this cabbage.

Spent Coleslaw

In place of French fries these days, many restaurants offer the choice of fruit or coleslaw As could be seen here, this coleslaw was watery and had been cut by the addition of cheaper bits of lettuce.
