Living near Seattle, as a child, this particular carousel happened to become the first carousel that my grandmother ever rode. At Ocean Beach, it was the first (the same) carousel that my mother rode. It was, also, the first carousel that I ever rode.

I've worked as an carousel restorer. And, I can tell you, Looff, is, (in so many ways) the best!
