Emerald Park was filled with many evergreen trees. In the distance, past the playground, was a covered picnic area where folks gathered to celebrate Oliver's 4th birthday.

One of two long tables was covered with plastic table cloth to provide a clean surface upon which to celebrate Oliver's birthday.

A blue bowl of strawberries, blueberries, and grapes stood on the table and provided a nourishing snack.

Two clear plastic containers of cupcakes rested on a plastic tray. These cupcakes would later become the birthday cake.
