This image was part of a series depicting a car trip up through New Jersey. It appears to be either a State Trooper requesting cars to stop at a checkpoint, or a Park Ranger collecting an entry fee.

This appears to be a Traffic Control officer at an event. In the old days, Traffic Control officers wore white gloves.

A pair of patrolling police walked the park paths early in the morning. They were pleasant and greeted us with a, "Gutten morgan."

Every Sunday morning the combined military and police in the area performed a flag raising ceremony to honor the fallen dead. A parade circled the central plaza. Civilians were banned from their plaza during the parade. This Military Policeman asked the tourist photographers to remain across the street on the sidewalk.
