A list of events currently taking place at Book Passage was posted in the corridor. It included the "Kidney Foundation Luncheon" and a list of "San Francisco Author Events."

Just outside the inside entrance, three author/book events were posted. From left to right:

The entrance inside the Ferry Building was welcomed by a sign on the window and a wide open door. Cards were for sale just to the left of the open doorway.

The inside of the store had a warm and welcoming feeling given to it by its use of wood. Shelves were full and there was even back stock visible above and reachable by a rolling ladder.

Outside the bookstore was a marvelous view of San Francisco Bay and the Ferries. A rolling book display housed on-sale books and used books for sale. In the reflection, you could just make out people along the low fence gazing at the sights, such as Treasure Island mid bay.
