Elaborate homes lined the cliffs above the inlet across from La Bufadora in Ensenada, Baja California.

Houses of many different styles and sizes along with a road used to access the lower ones.

Stilts were used to elevate some of the houses nearest the cliffs. Notice the bright blue house with its four stilts.

Houses and road cuts spoiled the dramatic landscape, the gnarled cliffs and rocky shore.

Despite the obvious wealth involved, these houses were built very close to one another. One would have expected a huge home to be surrounded by lavish tracts of land.
