![]() On the far side of the swimming hole, opposite the entrance, was a pathway that led out and into farmland, and eventually to a road.

![]() If it were not for the experienced eye of our guide, birds such as this Juvenile Tiger-Heron would have remained invisible. Our guide had the uncanny ability to spot the most obscure bird at a distance of many meters.

![]() A cow was grazing in a small fenced-in pasture. As it happened, all the birds we saw there were at the far other side of the pasture. Here this cow grazed on native grasses.

![]() A calf was present in the pasture too. It munched on grass growing at the edge of the pasture. The rope around its neck kept it from wandering too far.

![]() Beyond the gate was a dirt road at the not-to-distant end of which was the street where our van was waiting. It opened on the right and swung away from this camera position and back into the dirt road.
