Hundreds of new plants dotted the hillsides of the new Tunnel Tops Park in San Francisco.

Many of the new plants were succulents such as this fine arched beauty.

Another Succulent was shaped like a miniature tree. It had two arms branching out below its main head.

Two cactus-like Aloe plants appeared to almost walk across the mulch. Their curved branches made them look mighty despite being small.

A couple of large lawns were also available for people upon which to picnic, walk dogs, or play sports.

A few young pine trees were planted among the smaller plants.

A few new flowering plants were in bloom. One had purple petals, while another had white petals.

The occasional sign was posted on the fences surrounding the new plants. It read:

Nature At Work
Please stay out of the fenced
area so our new plants can
grow big and strong.
