The "Beast" raised garden, shown as it was first planted and just after the temporary path was installed. It was fitted with two water sources, but a bad design led to flooding. Only a few plants were started with the promise of more to be added next spring.

A wooden arbor was constructed and installed over the path on the far side of the "Beast" raised garden. A wisteria was being trained to grow up and over the top of the arbor from behind it. Beans were planted and will be growing up the inside of the arbor. Small plants in the "Beast" raised garden will grow into bushes next spring.
