Sea lion caves is the world's largest sea cave. It is a naturally formed underground cavern accessed by elevator. This area may be subject to natural events and geologic processes such as earthquakes, erosion and landslides as well as earth, water and rock movement. Visitor agrees to all risks of these hazards.

A part of the cave overlooking a dangerous area to avoid was marked by a sign, "No Trespassing -DANGER- Keep Back."

A really big sign alongside the trail described (in great detail) the, "Steller Sea Lion."
