The new basketball stadium was being built across the street from the California Art College. It's mirror face was just beginning to reflect the city around it.

New residence buildings were under construction on either side of the new stadium. Sales of these condominiums would offset the cost of the new stadium.

The curve of the new stadium will overhang the sidewalk on 16th Street.

Although incomplete, one can visualize the complete curve and scale of the finished building. A truly massive arena served only by the T trolley line.
