The jungle bridge in Pixie Woods was a combination of a rigid bridge and a cable suspended bridge. Divided into short sections, the bridge gave visitors a sense of safe adventure.

Rigid Parts High

The rigid parts of the bridge were about six inches (0.15 meter) higher than the suspended parts. So you had to step down into the suspended part and then back up and out of it several times while crossing.

One of the views from the bridge, with the pirate ship internal link just barely visible at the extreme right of the image.

A view looking out the bridge from the shore. Here you can clearly see the rigid (higher) parts and the suspended (lower) parts.

A view of the bridge in its jungle context. Here you can clearly see the swag of the suspended parts. Note, however, there is a strong net masking both sides of the suspended part for safety.
