A container of plastic covered wire was hung from the stainless steel cables enclosing the raspberry patch. The metal device on the container was used to cut the plant ties to the needed length. Alas, but the cutter was rusted from the previous ceaseless winter rain.

A plastic watering can sat on the lowest concrete blocks of next season's newest raised garden. This area had to be abandoned because of a layer of thick clay four inches under the dirt. Odd that a plastic container is called a watering can.

The spray adjusting nozzle attached to the end of a hose, lay on the wood chips that formed a path around the garden shed. The water was turned off until the warmer temperatures of spring arrive.

Shovels and rakes hung on the inside of the garden shed door. Their vertical positions had to be carefully chosen, or the shed door would not shut all the way.

A fan, an electric lawn mower, and several 5-gallon plastic bins of quarter-10 gravel waited inside the garden shed for the arrival of warmer weather in late spring.

Former Rolling Bin

A former, plastic rolling bin stood on its end with the other trash in the side yard. This bin was on its last legs and would likely fail completely the coming summer.
