A fairly new electricty meter was found mounted on an old wall just below old rebar and razor wire and a plastic bag filled with the unknown.

An old electricity meter was mounted on a newly painted blue wall. The sloppy paint job caused some of the wires to become blue, but an old paint job edged the meter's face in brown.

The number of each meter was stenciled to the outside of each box. This box was found just inside the entryway to a home.

This power meter was found mounted to the cinder block wall of the restrooms near the parking lot and bus stop. It was dirty and rusted because it was near the beach and ocean.

A building held many offices. At the side of the building was set of small windowed doors covering individual meters.

Along side the road from Quepos to Manual Antonio, this power meter was found attached to a board embedded into the concrete of the stand.

The power meter for this home was installed on a fence post at the base of the front stairs. There were two weather heads at the top of the pipe (not shown). One received the power, the other fed it overhead to the house.

A wooden box of power meters provided electricity to a farm next to the restaurant. Note that power from each meter was turned off and on using knife switches.

This power meter was found outside and across the street from the restaurant. It appeared to be power for a sign, but the wiring appeared very unsafe.

On a cruise of the interior this modest home was seen on shore. Even in the jungle, a home had access to electricity. Note how the meter was installed high and just under the eve of the roof to protect it from rain.

This box was used to protect the power meter. Because the box was within a fifty paces of the beach, it had rusted with fierce determination.

The striped board drew the eye to this power meter. Nothing subtle about a meter on the front of a building.
