This was the last shot taken by us while the bridge was still in use. As you can see, compared to the cars, the bridge was massively huge.

The new eastern span of the Oakland side of the Bay Bridge stood just beyond the remains of the old bridge. Here we see a few of the pilings being removed, and the end of the old bridge still being deconstructed.

Beyond Port Of Oakland

The slowly diminishing remains of the old Bay Bridge as seen just beyond the Port of Oakland. It used to be two levels for traffic and is now hardly one level.
