A small jellyfish was found floating in the gently lapping water of the beach just inside the protected cove of Angel Island. The two kids that found it were looking for a stick with which to poke it while this photo was being taken.

While visiting San Francisco's Ocean Beach, three friends stumbled across this dead jellyfish laying in the sand. The braver of the three picked it up so that a photograph could reveal the jellyfish's small size.
