The space between two second floor windows had been panted to look like a book shelf, whose top held a Springfield banner and a trophy.

The legs and boots of Ken Kesey were all that was visible when standing on the sidewalk next to them.

Another bookshelf was painted on the sidewalk level. That bookshelf also included a painted bus and a tractor, as well as a patriotic hat and an Oregon personalized license plate that read, "FURTHR."

Old style video tapes were also stacked on a shelf of the sidewalk-level painted bookshelf. A couple of the titles were, "Big Beat Club Acid Test," and "The Grapes of Wrath."

A sign attached to the wall gave the history of the mural.
