The mural, called "Welcome to Springfield Oregon," occupied the entire side of a large building.

The right hand side of the building was occupied by the word, "Oregon," a tall Great Blue Heron, and an arrow pointing to, "George + Violet's House."

The middle of the building was occupied by the words, "Welcome To Spring...," and a large flying Great Blue Heron.

The left hand side of the building was decorated with large purple flowers.

The artist's signature was partly obscured by a rusted metal fence. The signature read, "Old City Artists . com."

The flying Great Blue Heron's wing extended down, almost all the way to the ground, and covered a window.
