A metal door protected access to a narrow alley. A hand written sign labeled the door to that alley with the word, "Alone" (with the n written backward). At the end of the alley one could barely make out the presence of a blue recycling bin. The hand written sign, "Alone," was either graffiti or a personal expression of painful solitude. It was either art or a plea for comfort.
