The sign was next to what appeared to be two air intakes. But, of course they could also be air exhausts.

Faded Circle

An old paper "No Smoking" sign was protected behind thin plastic. The red circle and diagonal line over a cigarette icon was faded and smeared. It almost looked like a water colored sign that had been exposed to rain.
