A bol is a cross between a drogue parachute and a kite. It is round like a traditional parachute with a hole in the middle. The object of the race is to run the fastest while being held back by a bol attached to your body with a harness.

This race began with a woman and girl co-harnessed versus a boy alone pulling a bol. Behind them was a concrete wall atop which was the small parking lot.

The winner of each race was asked to go to the scoring platform to receive a prize. The winners of each heat would later face each other in a final race.
