A man on the back of the float played a drum. He wore an elaborate headpiece of gold with a thick mane of yellow feathers.

A dancer moved with exciting rhythm. A joy to behold in a costume that glittered in the sunlight.

When backlit by the sun, the feathers of the dancers seemed go glow, causing his fringe to appear like fire.

The costume of the female dancers tended more toward gems and less toward metal.

Even the very young of the group wore a headpiece of elaborate feathers.

A woman wore multicolored feathers and a matching outfit.

As the dancers moved away, the backside of there outfits came into view.

The parade was on a sunny and warm San Francisco afternoon. Here, one of the men had developed a thirst and satisfied it with a drink of water.
