A gazebo was built alongside the lake. Because it was legal to keep some caught fish, the gazebo was built so that folks could clean and cook their fish right there by the lakeside. Of course, the gazebo was also available to anyone that needed a sheltered place to picnic.

A ventilated iron door covered a hole into which wood could be burned. The burning wood heated a cooking surface above.

A lower iron door provided access to the trash soot left over from burning wood above. The door had been left ajar and was showing signs of rust.

A porcelain sink was set into a wooden counter of the Gazebo. A hose faucet supplied water so that fish could be cleaned so that food could be prepared.

The ceiling inside the Gazebo was created using stout logs and tightly fitted wooden boards.

A raccoon-proof and bear-proof garbage can was available for Gazebo use. It specifically banned household garbage. Its sign said, "Deposit Garbage Here, Home Garbage Prohibited."
