Justin Petit Ranch House was built by Justin Petit for his wife Frances and their 7 children. The house was 7,100 sq. ft. (660 sq. meters) and had 13 rooms, 7 of which were bedrooms.

Notice the delicate spindle and spool work on the verandas. Also notice the use of curved glass in the corner windows.

The entrance to the basement was to the left of the front. A sign over the entrance labeled this as the "Petit Playhouse, Established 1994."

The play being performed that day was, "The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe" by C.S. Lewis. Directed by Gail Jones, and produced by Shannon La Vise Echols.

A sign over the basement door labeled this as the "Home of the Elite Theatre Company."

The left rear of the house had a wrap-around veranda.

The front of the house featured a curved porch decorated with black steel furniture.

A dramatic fern grew next to the front steps.

The right side of the building had a side entrance with its own set of steps.

The house features an irregular roof, part of which could be seen above a right-side window.

Two brick chimneys rose above the house. Notice the windows in the gable at the top.

The back of the house was modest in its appearance. Note that it was not possible to walk completely around this building because it abutted another building's fence at the back.

A window in the building's side showed that clothing was for sale inside. Also note that the water tower was reflected.
