Chairs and tables were arranged below the palm trees and in front of a bronze statue.

A sign at the base of the statue identified it as, "The Star Girl." The statue was a reproduction of the original first displayed on the parapet of the Panama Pacific International Exposition.

The statue was dramatic and towered over the tables and chairs.
