![]() Unlike the inside of the Salesforce Transbay Center which was brightly lit and decorated, the outside bus stops appeared industrial and markedly less humanly inviting.

![]() Each bus stop was indicated by a lit sign. The 38R Geary Rapid sign showed alerts (none), the next two departure times (next bus in 7 minutes, and the one after that in 15 minutes), and the current fares.

![]() Doors were clearly marked for access to "Folsom Street", and the "MUNI Bus Plaza." A direction post indicated that MUNI buses and Golden Gate Transit buses were ahead. And that SamTrans buses and taxis were to the left.
