The Salesforce Tower was a highrise building that faced Mission Street. Salesforce Plaza, next to the building, connected Mission Street to the Salesforce Transit Center. Cars were barred from entry using bollards.

Dark bands crossed the plaza and lit circles filled each band. To the left of this image was the maze entry to the gondola that went to the roof garden. At the back of the plaza was entry to the Salesforce Transit Center. This photo was taken on a Saturday morning, so the plaza was mostly empty of people.
