|
![]() To travel to Antioch, take normal BART to the Pittsburg/Bay Point station, stay on the train, and continue to the next stop, a transfer platform between two actual stations. At this transfer platform you disembark normal bart and board the new eBART cars to continue to Pittsburg and Antioch. Each car was independently powered by Diesel. It was not possible to move from car to car while in motion.

![]() The Antioch Station platform, shown with its departure side for the Millbrae station and SFO. Notice that the tracks only have two rails, the electrified third rail is absent. Thus, only diesel trains can run on these tracks.

![]() The Antoich station is on the other side of a freeway. It is at the edge of town, not in town, and thus needs a large parking lot.

![]() The seats on eBART were padded and a bluish gray. The floors were smooth and easy to wash. The windows were mirrored (preventing others from seeing in) and huge.
