The sign over India House was modest and partially covered with a patterned lavender cloth.

A menu posted above the order counter listed the items for sale and included a photograph of each dish. The prices ranged from $9.00 for Chicken Noodle to $3.00 for Veggie Samosa.

A second menu was posted next to the order counter. It was labeled, "Sonny's India House."

Huge, yellow banners with orange letters hung over the left side and down one corner of the booth. They both read, "Sonny's India House."

The order taker wore a baseball cap. Here he chatted with a customer about a refill.

Tables were available for customers to sit at and eat. The tables were located in a small alcove next to India House. Although most customers there ate India House food, one fellow, seated on the end, ate a dessert bought elsewhere.
