Two signs hung above the booth. One read, "Tempura, batter dipped deep fried vegetables." The other read, "Yes, yes, yes."

Two people worked behind the scenes. Here, one read awaiting orders while stirring. The other put the finishing touches on a dish that had been sold.

Figurines and puppets guarded the hot metal surface from any accidental touch. A sign also warned of, "Caution Hot!"

To the right of the Veggie Heaven "Order Here," counter were three menus. The first listed Tempura, Mushrooms, and Onion Rings. The second listed, "Battered and fried Artichoke Hearts $5," and the third said, "Deep Fried Ice Cream $5."

To the left of the "Order Here" counter was a sign that read, "Orange Zinger $2.50." Another sign was partly hidden by a hanging plant. It listed forms of French fries for sale.
