The garden stretched from the entrance to the tree line. The garden was laid out symmetrically with a fountain in the center. At the far end was a pond .

Displays of flowers and shrubs were enclosed inside low hedges. Between the hedged-in displays was freshly mowed grass.

Red roses were displayed just behind a low hedge. Those roses were backed by three different colored ground covers. Tall spiked plants added an exciting backdrop to the roses and ground cover.

Some displays seemed occupied by wild flowers. But the effect was created by a careful selection of multicolored flowers.

Dramatic trees also grew inside the garden. One example had a dramatically curved trunk.

The greenhouse was built in the far left corner of the garden. It was open to the public and held many examples of starter plants.

A large gazebo lay at the left side of the garden. That gazebo provided places to sit and rest, as well as a shaded place to escape overly hot days.

The path through the garden was created from many small square tiles.
