The greenhouse at Shore Acres State Park was large with lots of wooden shelves for plants and seedlings. Watering cans and other garden supplies were stored on the floor under the shelves.

In the center of the greenhouse was a double decker arrangement of wooden shelves. Plants rested on those shelves in a wide variety of pots.

The second aisle in the greenhouse was filled with long leafed, almost grass-like plants.

At the end of one aisle stood a young tree in a pot. That tree stood in front of a tall electrical breaker box.

A few of the plants on the shelves had tags which helped the visitor identify those plants in their infancy.

Succulents were also on display in the greenhouse. Ferns too, as witness their fronds hanging down from an upper shelf.

Flowering cactus plants were displayed in a plastic tray. Only four of the cactus had tags to help identify them.
