A mural on a long fence cheered up the neighborhood. Surrounded by industrial buildings, this mural celebrated food and life.

One section of the mural featured a human-like tree from behind which a bird flew trailing a subdued rainbow contrail, and on the other side of which a warm sun floated over a nighttime ocean.

A monster butterfly hovered over people tending a garden, while in a neighboring garden a man displayed a king sized watermelon.

Three artists had gathered to finish painting a tree on the fence. The tree was a woman with branches for hair.

A man painted water on the fence. Cows walked on a path that gradually transformed into a river.

A huge sun on the fence floated next to a group of people surrounded by huge wheat. Words that began in the center and then spiraled out, "Ahi Viene El Sol here Comes The Sun Hissss Sacred Water...."

This mural occupied the entire length of a city block from Florida all the way down to Alabama.
