A mural was painted on a construction fence. It showed selected features that defined the city of Sacramento, California. In the upper left was a hot sun that was typical of Sacramento's summer weather.

A sign that read, "farm-to-fork capital," was tagged with the word,"GIZ." Above the sign was a bicycle.

Above a bicycle were the words, "Delta Breeze." To the right of the bicycle was a turkey leg with the expression, "!".

A reproduction of the I-5 freeway symbol was labeled, "New Helvetia [sic]." Below was an old pickup truck which was labeled, "Culturally diverse." To the right of the pickup truck was an image of the Tower Bridge over the Sacramento River. It was labeled, "The 916."

Above the Tower Bridge were the bear and star from the California Flag. They were labeled, "Capital City," because Sacramento is the capital of California.

A blue palm tree was labeled, "hot hot heat." To the right of the tree was either a cold mug of beer, or an iced mug of root beer. With that much foam, it could also be an iced mug of root beer float.

A crown was labeled, "City of trees." The label and crown were below a huge pumpkin that resembled another huge, warm, summer sun.

A blue squirrel appeared to say, "Gold fever." Sacramento was the closest city to the discovery of gold in the early 1800's.

A sign read, "Hella Sacto."

The blue tail of the blue squirrel was labeled, "Easy Livin'." Below the sign was a flower.

An overall view of the mural. One sign we missed was the, "River city," label for a shoe.
