A sign at the entrance to the park welcomed people. It also listed the rules governing the use of the park.

A huge industrial lathe formed the left side border of the path into the park.

The old industrial lathe was long and set on dirt alongside the path.

The track of the lathe was slowly being overgrown with ferns.

The various components of the lathe were locked in place by rust.

One component of the lathe were two steel bars held down by bolts and lifted by springs.

The far end of the lathe was the piece that held the work piece in place.

A sign on the end of the lathe was titled, "Steel Lathe." That sign also described the use of the lathe.

Also, at the end of the path into the park, was a line of hoops for parking and locking bicycles.

Another sign prohibited swimming because beyond the buoy line laid submerged hazards.

Benches were available for park visitors to sit upon. Also, out in the bay, was the line of buoys that visitors should never swim beyond..

The park was long, with a beach to the left and grass beyond that.

Boats were docked at a marina off to the left of the park.

A ship repair facility was across the water from the park.

A wide patch of grass grew facing the beach. Benches at the far end were a place to rest.

A patch of sandy dirt was also available, perhaps for a volley or pickle ball game. Although it could also be a place for dogs to cavort.
